Fun with Stuff from Prin

We've had some snow.  It's been bitterly cold (around 0 or single digits), but today was warmer and the kids went out to sled down the small hill in our side yard using the sled that Prin gave them a few years ago.  The girls sledded first and Little Guy took up his customary role as observer.

He took one turn on my lap on the sled and declared it "fun" but didn't want to go again.  When he went inside, he told Sam very happily, "Fun.  Mom." :)  It's like he wanted to tell Sam all about it, but he doesn't have that many words, so that was the whole story.

Then after dinner he told me, "Mom. Play. Me." He led me by the hand to the floor, said, "Sit!" and brought me a toy to play with, a wooden train my parents gave him for Christmas that pulls some animals.  One of the animals was not in the train car, and I pointed the missing one out across the room.  He went to it and then came running back, holding it aloft and calling "Hoooorse!"

Then at his further behest, I set up the bowling kit that Prin gave him for Christmas, and he had fun running around and tossing the ball at the pins (he can't quite roll it yet).  He quickly discovered another technique, which is part bowling, part boxing.

There's another video in which he says, "Hi! Prin!" and runs over to see if Prin is in the camera, but the video was too long for Blogger to accept, so I guess Prin will have to visit (or move back, ahem) to see it.

PS: Yes, to my shame, that is our Christmas tree still up (until tomorrow).  We ordered a new ornament storage box and it was delayed getting here.
